Identify
We identify gaps in local service provision where community need is established, where conventional provision is inadequate or unavailable, and where an alternative model — structured for long-term sustainability and community benefit — offers a better answer.
Structure
We build organisations and projects designed to attract social investment, grant funding and patient capital — structured from the outset for long-term financial sustainability and measurable community benefit.
Deliver
We work alongside local authorities, public bodies and community stakeholders rather than around them. Our objective is provision that serves the whole community and remains accountable to it.
We are forming our advisory panel.
Tendring Community Services is at an early stage. We are assembling a small advisory panel of people with direct experience in community enterprise, social finance, public sector services, planning and development, or local governance in Essex and the surrounding region.
Advisory involvement at this stage is pro bono, with a defined remit and a realistic time commitment. We are not building a large committee. We are looking for a small number of people who understand how to get community-rooted projects from concept to delivery.
